I was talking in this thread that forumsmotion.com is watching is right now and they do not allow spammers or personal information like for example saying you name and address that is personal information, now do you get it.

What he is trying to say was that we were getting "love notes" and other strange spam about "changing posts" and people with "I am stupid" for their avatar. Three or four of them! My moderators must've banned some of them, but they were spamming in the guest discussion area and saying that they were... well... lets not go there, you get the point.

2 bunny rules, do u know how many forumsmotion forums there are!! they cant be directly watching because that would be too many people! but i think they do watch somehow.. but the guest people didnt say their address or any personal info. and whats with you, tho? "spanking butts to death"? "crack heads"? if you had online guns, youd shoot them? thats certainly no way for a mod to act..

2 bunny, i kinda understand.. so you were getting love notes? (usually those are secret but w/e). and whats with changing posts? were u? and whats wrong with having "i am stupid" as their avatar? you are allowed to have any avatar you want, so whats wrong with that? and ok, ban the spammers, thats good. and what WERE they saying? and i only get some of the point. so please reply. both of u

They don't really watch. The conduct of the forum is up to the administrator (me), and it got sorted out. Nobody provided personal information in the ordeal.

Please forgive him, he is one of our younger moderators, but some people get annoyed and fed up when too much spam circulates through the system.

Yes we were. But we could tell it was just a flood of people saying random stuff. No posts were changed except the ones describing, well, lets not bring it up. And nothing is wrong with having "out of the ordinary" avatars. The thing was, several users had them. This led me to believe they were the same person, but now that you think of it, it wouldn't have had to have been the case.

Some of them were complaining about other forums and falsely accusing some members, and it got so out of hand that there were personal attacks on some members. I have reason to believe this was connected with the love note incident because of similar usernames in the guest area, but you can make any username you want as a guest: even ones already claimed by members. Hopefully this helps! We are sorry that these strange happenings had to happen at such an inconvenient time. Please excuse us! But never hesitate to ask questions, we always want to keep a record as a "G Rated" and honest board.

well, 2 bunny rules mentioned something about personal info, so i had to bring it up (scroll up,and look what her said)

and yes, spam is frustrating, but its really not a reason for a MOD to say innapropriate things.. young mod or not.

and ok, i see. maybe just talk to them, that might make it better Smile

well after all this i am totally not sure if i should stay.. i guess i could try a few more days but come on this is kinda crazy, theres still evidence in forums!
